We have been residents of the Blackwater Valley for over 15 years, and are currently living in Blackwater. We are married with 3 kids all attending local schools.
We have set this site up to offer all residents of the area an opportunity to speak out about topics of interest and join an interactive debate about these issues.
In our forums, you will find plenty of opportunities to air you voice about local issues, whether it be to say a big thank you to someone, announce a special occasion or just let off some steam about something that has annoyed you.
Within the Community Area of this site, you can look for a trader that has been recommended by another resident of the area or provide feedback on work you have had carried out.
The site is designed on the KIS approach - Keep It Simple. No Flash animations, background images or sound tracks here. Just plain and simple so it downloads quickly. We recognise that many people still use dial up connections and have a screen resolution of 800 x 600, so we cater for these people rather than add all sorts of fancy “widgets” that slow down connections and fill up the screen.
If you are toying with the idea of upgrading to broadband, we can thoroughly recommend it. It is a much better, much quicker method of Internet access and now costs very little more than dial-up. There are now more broadband connections in the UK than dial-up. Check out the Utility Warehouse Discount Club for some great deals.
